Refund & Cancellation Policy

At RAO IIT & Medical / RAO – IB & IGCSE, admissions are confirmed only after careful counselling, academic discussion, batch planning, faculty allocation and seat reservation. Since each admission involves academic planning, faculty commitment, batch capacity allocation and administrative processing, the following refund policy shall apply.

Admission Confirmation

Once a student’s admission is confirmed through payment of registration fee, booking amount, scholarship fee, instalment amount, part-payment or full course fee, the student’s seat is reserved in the selected course, batch, programme or one-to-one coaching arrangement.

No Refund After Batch Commencement

Once the batch, course, programme, online class, offline class, home tuition, one-to-one session or academic service has started, no refund shall be applicable, irrespective of whether the student has attended one class, multiple classes, or has chosen not to continue after commencement.

Scholarship / Discounted Admissions

Admissions granted under scholarship, special discount, early-bird offer, management concession, promotional offer or any other reduced fee category are provided against limited seats and special approvals.

Therefore, once the admission is confirmed under any scholarship or discounted category, the amount paid shall be non-refundable, especially after batch commencement.

Registration / Booking Amount

Any registration fee, booking amount, seat-blocking amount, admission processing fee or initial confirmation amount paid to reserve the student’s seat shall be non-refundable, as the same is used for admission processing, counselling, academic planning and seat reservation.

Instalment Payment Cases

Where the student has opted for instalment payment, the instalment schedule agreed at the time of admission must be followed. Non-continuation, absence from class, change of mind or non-attendance shall not cancel the payment obligation once the batch or course has started.

Pending instalments shall remain payable as per the agreed fee schedule unless specifically approved in writing by the management.

Full Payment Cases

Where the full fee has been paid and the batch / course / academic service has started, no refund shall be provided. The fee paid shall be treated as final confirmation of admission and academic service allocation.

Change of Mind / Personal Reasons

No refund shall be applicable in cases where the student or parent chooses to discontinue due to personal reasons, change of mind, change of school, change of board, relocation, scheduling preference, dissatisfaction without following the academic review process, or any reason not directly attributable to non-delivery of service by the institute.

Faculty Change / Batch Change

RAO IIT & Medical / RAO – IB & IGCSE reserves the right to change, replace or reassign faculty, batch timings, mode of delivery, academic schedule or class structure in the interest of academic continuity and operational feasibility.

A faculty change, batch adjustment, timetable revision or mode adjustment shall not be treated as a valid ground for refund.

Academic Review Before Discontinuation

In case of any academic concern, the parent / student must first raise the concern formally with the academic team. The institute shall be given reasonable time to review the concern and provide a suitable academic solution, which may include counselling, academic feedback, faculty support, batch adjustment, doubt-solving support or replacement of faculty wherever applicable.

Refund shall not be considered unless the matter has been formally reviewed and decided by the management.

Exceptional Cases

Any refund, credit adjustment, fee transfer or special approval, if considered in exceptional circumstances, shall be solely at the discretion of the management. Such approval must be given in writing by the authorised management team.

No verbal assurance, discussion or communication shall be treated as a refund commitment unless confirmed officially in writing.

Taxes, Administrative Charges and Deductions

In case any refund is exceptionally approved, applicable deductions may include admission processing charges, administrative charges, GST / taxes already paid or payable, classes conducted, faculty allocation cost, study material cost, platform charges and any other applicable academic or operational expenses.

Final Decision

The decision of RAO IIT & Medical / RAO – IB & IGCSE management regarding refund, cancellation, fee adjustment or continuation of services shall be final and binding.

By confirming admission and making payment, the parent / student agrees to the above Refund & Cancellation Policy.
